Primarily Represents Employees. Experienced in claims of
discrimination, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, disability
discrimination, whistle blowing, failure to pay state or federal
minimum wages and failure to pay overtime, paid-time off vacation
time or commissions.
Defamation
Involved in numerous defamation lawsuits, both defending and
pursuing claims.
Professional Licensing Boards
Assisted professionals in trouble with their licensing boards,
including college professors in trouble with Universities. Also
assisted professors appeal the denial of their application for
tenure.
Test-Taking Accommodations
Helped students acquire test-taking accommodations on exams based
on their disabilities including ADD, ADHD and anxiety.
General Litigation
Served as an extern and/or law clerk for six different Judges in
both state and federal trial courts, as well as the Arizona Court
of Appeals.
Appellate Law
Served as a law clerk for Arizona Court of Appeals Judge
Patrick Irvine. When Judge Irvine left the Court, Jeff was afforded
the opportunity to work with and draft appellate decisions for
nearly all Arizona Court of Appeals Judges before
clerking for Judge Samuel A. Thumma. The unique clerkship has given
him a true understanding of what it takes to win an appeal.
