Paternity

There are cases when paternity is at issue. It may be a father seeking to establish paternity for his child or a mother dealing with a contested paternity. Establishment of paternity provides rights to the child and rights and obligations to the father. The child may be entitled to medical benefits, rights to inheritance, and social security or veteran benefits. The father also has legal parental rights which can include visitation, parenting time and legal decision making. Our attorneys have effectively represented either party in paternity cases.
